How travel pricing works
Travel coverage is quoted based on the destination, the amount of coverage needed and the number of days the experience requires.
When travel is needed, Alex provides one clear quote that includes both photography coverage and travel expenses. No guessing or stressing with flights, rental cars, hotels or hidden fees - just one full investment based on your package selection and where she would be going.
Please note: portrait and maternity sessions are typically home-area only unless travel is specifically requested.

The Prelude
A day-before session for easing into the destination before the ceremony. Alex will help choose a location that fits the feeling of the moment - think joy, movement, nerves and the magic of being somewhere unforgettable together.
Less formal than the big day and more alive than a standard portrait session, this is a great way to ease into the celebrations ahead while still making and capturing memories.
Example shoots: city walk through Dublin, surfing in Ericeira, getting ice cream in San Diego, winery tour of the Douro Valley.

The Bookends
This destination story add-on includes The Prelude experience paired with a short morning-after session, created for couples who want the full emotional arc of the destination experience photographed.
While The Prelude is focused on capturing the nerves, joy and energy that can always be found the day before a celebration, this experience adds coverage focused on the beginning of your next chapter together. Think of it as capturing one of your first quiet moments as a married couple - something simple now, but priceless later to reflect on.
This experience also includes a physical photo book filled with Alex's favorite photos from your journey, arranged in narrative order.
Examples: "first married moments", first cup of coffee, first cafe breakfast, first walk in a park, first unhurried moment post-marriage.

The Journey
A fully customized destination add-on for couples who want more than The Prelude or The Bookends.
Coverage is shaped around the trip itself - additional sessions, family moments, excursions or anything else worth preserving while you are there.
Example shoots: Greek island-hopping honeymoon, African safari elopement, Italian villa micro wedding with the extended family, European backpacking journey.
